One thing I’ve noticed lately is how everything a person has done in life, from the most mundane to the quirkiest,
all of a sudden can start to add up and make sense.

I’ve lived in Seattle for a very long time doing lots of different things--mothering and gardening, teaching and learning, reading and writing; designing, building, fixing, and just generally holding down the fort.

Then I came to the age when I wanted a change and the change looked like Mexico.

This blog is a way for us to keep in touch. I hope to entertain you as I share some stories, some thoughts, some books...and maybe even a little magic.
